Search Engine Optimization - Website Optimization

In the past, it is possible to get top rank using just one webpage. But now, the Search Engine is putting more emphasis on the quality of the entire website as a whole. These are the step by step instructions for Website Optimization.
1) Unique Contents
After you've found a profitable and good demand topic to work on, it is time for you to create lots of articles for this topic.

Assuming that you already have a good collection of private label articles (about 25 to 40 articles would be good enough), your job is to rewrite these articles and compile them into a niche website.

I know what you are asking, "Must I rewrite those articles?"

From my experience, you can get some traffic using "unmodified" private label articles. But you will get lots of traffic, especially from Google, if you put in some effort to rewrite the articles.

If you do not have any private label articles (which is not possible because you know you already have a library of them), you will have to write those articles yourself. Personally, I think I can achieve more with less time using private label articles. Moreover, I can outsource the article writing and save the time to promote my websites, which is more important.
2) Themed Website Structure

When creating your website, you should arrange your articles into different sub-topics or different themes. For example, if you are creating a website on pet grooming, you can have the following structure:

There are two main reasons why you should spend some time to structure the layout of your website:
Most made-for-Adsense websites will not be bothered to group the articles into different categories. Most of these websites will just list all the articles on the homepage. If you spend some time categorizing your articles, it will make your website look more professional and thus visitors tend to stay on your website longer.
Search Engines are putting more emphasis on the quality of your website as a whole, not just a single page. Having a well categorized website will prevent theme-bleeding and improve your Search Engine ranking.
3) Link Your Internal Pages Using Keywords

Besides categorizing your articles, another thing you need to take note is to link your webpages using the keywords or the title of the article.

For example, you may have an article titled "Dog Grooming Schools For Beginners" and the keywords are "Dog Grooming Schools". When you want to link to this page from any of the pages within your website, you should do it through a hyperlink from the keywords "Dog Grooming Schools" or "Dog Grooming Schools For Beginners".

4) Create A Sitemap

Last but not least, you need to create a sitemap for your website. You can create one for free at http://www.xml-sitemaps.com.
